At the local nonprofit that I work for, I pitched the idea of creating educational zines centered around the social justice issues we support. I designed and currently manage the project with a team that supports in creative ideation, brainstorming and research. I am heavily supported by the Policy Coordinator that understands how government policies heavily influence and impact these issues. The overall goal is to educate people on how politics are impacting our every day lives and why we should care and take collective action towards fighting for our wants and needs in our communities that are necessary for us to thrive and grow.
