For this project, I worked with two different artists preparing for an exhibition at the NE Sculpture Gallery. They wanted a poster designed for their exhibition that was modern and minimal yet reflective of them as artists while offering a sneak peak into the pieces they were creating for the show.
Using spaces that were readily available to us, I designed and executed a photoshoot to capture each individual’s artistry. These images showcase a harmonious balance between the hard, cold industrial vibes brought on by the surrounding architecture and the feelings of individuality and belonging the artists bring to the composition. Despite how contrasting the subjects may feel, I wanted to create compositions where interacting with the environment felt natural yet distinct, similar to any creative trying to make their presence bold in an industry that has become highly oversaturated over the years.
