was largely inspired by the Japanese philosophy, Wabi-Sabi [ which celebrates the beauty of imperfection, transience, and the art of slow living ] and my passion for making clothing a tool for self-expression. I wanted to create a collection that felt unapologetically sensual, using revealing cutouts and sheer textiles to inspire a sense of empowerment and boldness in those who wear them. For me, clothing is more than just what you wear—it's a statement, a way to communicate without words, and no one should ever feel ashamed of how they choose to express themselves.
This collection was designed to make individuals feel confident in their own skin and embrace their unique style. Exploring the principles of Wabi-Sabi, I aimed to find beauty in the imperfect and create garments that evolve over time. I sourced recycled textiles from FABSCRAP, aligning with the philosophy of finding value in what might otherwise be discarded. The designs focus on minimalism and simplicity, with colors and styles that feel timeless yet adaptable. As fashion trends ebb and flow, these pieces remain relevant, offering versatility and a connection to something deeper. In essence, Revolt is about embracing who you are and finding elegance in simplicity.
